    The Beaver Now Band: Cloveria

A new song about Cloveria Morth’lana, from a band that we can call Beaver Now Beaver Now, or something like that. The Beaver Now Band.

That just means it uses the same voice, same style, like it’s a band. It’s groovy psych/space rock.

Give it a listen! Give the YouTube channel a follow if you can! Thanks!

  • I have already died thousands of times

I have already died thousands of times

Today dropped a quietly devastating new single called I Have Already Died (Thousands of Times)” that wraps heavy personal grief in an unexpectedly catchy pop package. With bright, melodic hooks and a subtle emo undercurrent in the vulnerable delivery, the track feels like a modern bedroom-pop confession set to an infectious beat—think wistful choruses that stick in your head while the lyrics quietly gut you. Lines like “Every breath a borrowed thread from a life that let me stay / But the real me stayed behind the night you both went away” hit with soft-spoken ache, turning five years of numb absence and loss into something strangely singable. It’s the kind of song that sneaks up on you: upbeat enough to hum along to, yet laced with that hollow-eyed realization of moving through the world long after the light went out. If you’re craving pop that dares to sit with the emptiness, this one’s worth a repeat listen.

    Trust the Ghost Beavers! Spotify!

Yesterday, I was in the Splinterlands Tavern and there was talk of ghost beavers. Talk and gifs. It got me thinking about a ghost beavers song, and this is how it ended up. I think it sounds a bit Pinkfloydian.

    Lyrics

    Ghost beavers in the river
    Chewing logs you cannot see
    Building dams without a sound
    Setting all the water free

You try to steer, you try to fight
Grip the paddle way too tight
But they just gnaw right through the night
    Ghost beavers, ghost beavers

Let it flow… let it flow…
    Trust the Ghost Beavers
    They know… they know…
    Trust the Ghost Beavers

Let it flow… let the water rise
    Trust the Ghost Beavers
    Open up your eyes

    Farmer called a helper once
Ghost showed up and worked all day
But when he said “sort these potatoes”
    The helper faded clean away

Too many choices, mind goes blank
    Everything starts to break
Ghost beavers never think that way
They just build… they just play

Let it flow… let it flow…
    Trust the Ghost Beavers
    They know… they know…
    Trust the Ghost Beavers

Let it flow… watch the river bend
    Trust the Ghost Beavers
This is how it ends… and begins again

    I don’t know… I don’t know…
    And that’s okay
Ghost tail slap in the dark
    Washes all the worry away

    Everything is fading slow
    Snow upon the sand
Let the beavers do their thing
    Surrender… take my hand

Let it flow… let it flow…
    Trust the Ghost Beavers
    They know… they know…
    Trust the Ghost Beavers

Let it flow… through the trees and me
    Trust the Ghost Beavers
    Set your spirit free…
    Ghost beavers… ghost beavers…

Play it all night long, while you sleep. And maybe… just maybe, you’ll find that donut stargate in the morning!

  • Conspiracies on Apple Music

    Conspiracies on Apple Music

Some people don’t use Spotify. I get that. I don’t actually use it myself. I have a family subscription to Apple Music, so I use that because it’s, well, cost-effective.

Anyway, this was a bit of a test. I wanted to make sure I could post Apple Music embeds here and have them show up.

Conspiracies (Rock Version) is out on Spotify!

That’s right, the song you may have heard on OurFadedGlory streams or somewhere else is now available on Spotify and other streaming platforms.

Or let’s be realistic, you probably haven’t heard it, and you probably haven’t seen the lyric video either, so I’ll post that as well.

Also, I’m experimenting with blogging from WordPress to Hive. I have a website to post Spotify playlists and more, and I want to see if I can integrate Hive into the blog posts and comments.

  • Transform into a Beaver!

    Transform into a Beaver!

What kind of stupid question is that? Of course you do!

It’s a lyric video as well. These take a bit of time to make, and this song took a little longer than the average one does.

The song is a little psychedelic, motorik drums, spacey. Space rock, I suppose? I was going for something similar to Hawkwind.
