So far, these are all either electronic or more like soundtracks, or orchestral. The other genres, or songs with lyrics, are typically released as singles. When I have an album’s worth of a particular style, I may start releasing them into collections as well. For now, though, these are the ones that are imagined as full albums.
Disconnected but Echoing
This one is still what I’d call chill instrumental electronic music, but it’s less chill than chillwave or vaporwave and with more post-rock influences on it. Slightly glitchy here and there, but not crazy. Good for studying, streaming, walking, and possibly sneezing.
Banans Zimma
This is meant to be in a style similar to Hans Zimmmer. Orchestral, but also some electronic elements. Dark and mysterious. Almost like a soundtrack to a movie that doesn’t exist about a dark superhero that doesn’t exist. There are actually two parts. The first one is Dark Empire. The second is The Monumental Rise.
Slow Rescue
Acid house? Idk. I think that was the base idea I was going with, but I try to add in all sorts of sounds that might not normally be there, like guitars. I like this one, though. I think you might too.
Banana Bananasson: Echoes in the Shattered Sky
This one is an imaginary soundtrack for a movie that doesn’t exist, meant to be similar to the work of Jóhann Jóhannsson, the dearly-departed Icelandic composer that made many great soundtracks.
Peculiar Nouns
The Peculiar Nouns albums are influenced by the soundtracks to a really popular show on the most popular streaming platform. But also it’s inspired by the band S U R V I V E. You know the one, probably. I like the music on that show a lot and I think it sounds good on streams. There are three of these albums so far.
Analog synth sounds, spookiness, texture. It takes you on a journey. Written and planned to have a story-like flow.
Coming soon! Part IV!
